About resizing images
Pixels or percentage
Pixels give every image the same size, which suits uploads with a required dimension. A percentage scales each image relative to its own original size, which is better when a batch contains photos of different sizes.
Aspect ratio
The aspect ratio is the proportion of width to height. Keeping it locked prevents images from looking stretched or squashed. With aspect ratio on, entering only a width lets each image work out its own height.
Fit, Fill and Exact
Fit scales the whole image to sit inside your size without cropping. Fill covers the full size and crops the edges that overflow. Exact forces the size you typed, which can distort the picture.
Common social media sizes
Square posts are often 1080 by 1080, portrait posts 1080 by 1350, and stories and reels 1080 by 1920. Landscape video thumbnails are commonly 1920 by 1080 or 1280 by 720. Platforms change their guidance, so check the current recommendation if a size matters.

Are my images uploaded?
No. Resizing runs entirely in your browser.
What is the difference between Fit and Fill?
Fit keeps the whole image and may end up smaller than the box on one side. Fill covers the whole box and crops the overflow.
Can I make an image larger?
Yes, but enlarging cannot add detail, so a heavily enlarged image can look soft.
Does resizing change the file format?
No. Each image keeps its format. GIFs are saved as a still PNG. Use the converter to change formats.
Do all my images need the same dimensions?
No. With aspect ratio locked, each image is resized proportionally from its own size.
